Mindset Plus and Save the Children Philippines Partner to Strengthen Mental Health Support in Schools and Communities

Mindset Plus is privileged to partner with Save the Children Philippines to strengthen Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) for Filipino children and youth—particularly in schools and communities where care and support are most urgently needed.

This initiative supports the implementation of Republic Act No. 12080, a landmark law that enhances the delivery of mental health services in the basic education sector. The law calls for the development of school-based mental health programs, the establishment of Mental Health and Well-Being Offices and Care Centers in Schools Division Offices, and the deployment of qualified mental health professionals to ensure accessible and consistent support across the education system.

Through evidence-based training, community engagement, and localized support, our partnership aims to build safe, inclusive environments where every learner has access to timely, appropriate, and compassionate mental health care.
